That’s What Love Would Do

How do we manage holding people’s differing opinions and at the same not be hurt by them? This is the part of the work that is hard. And the hurt that some people are feeling right now hurts my heart too.

If you like this podcast, we would love you to give a review. Here is how you do it.

  • It always astounds me how atrocities have been committed, especially in the name of religion. Thank you for speaking out and taking this stand. I am with you. I am with love.

  • Thank you so much Monique for your beautiful passionate message. I am sad about bullying, in all walks of life.

  • This is so tragic… this whole situation. You spoke beautifully and clearly. We ALL must step in to stop those who feel more emboldened than every to harass and humiliate those who are different from them. Thank you for taking such a strong stand!

  • This is exactly what I needed to hear. I am strengthened to carry on loving when those around me would have me turn away

  • Thank you Monique! A passionate, compelling post! It made my cry for those who are being persecuted right now! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • I hope your student is listening to this and reading these comments. You are so worthy of love; I love you, this community loves you. It is hurtful when the “attacks” come from our family. It is hard to take their views out of our heads so that we don’t feel that pain, but it is possible. When you feel this pain, close your eyes and let the scenario play out in your mind, but see yourself – envision yourself – coming to yourself in those moments and hugging yourself, reassuring yourself that it’s ok in the moment that they don’t understand how much this hurts you, and remind yourself that their ignorance is just their fears and holds no true power. Hug yourself and tell yourself you are worthy and say to the “you” in your vision that you’ve come to the aid of that “I love you. God loves you. You are perfect as He made you.” 💕💕💕
