I enjoyed your explanation about coming back to the present and also the 10 minutes is enough. I am mostly much more aware of intruding thoughts now. Today I never reacted to a sharp comment so the peace is beginning!
This was very valuable to me. I have trouble many days in staying present, but I at least have progressed to where I can adeptly recognize the gaps between my mind wandering. I’m hopeful that I can get to the place where my mind is quiet for longer moments.
This answered so many questions about the nature of my meditation practice: thank you! I have been doing transcendental meditation and zen meditation for years and I wish I had heard this a long time ago!
