Fooled By The Finish Line

How do we define success? When I work with people, often, the goal is the finish line. Interestingly, they eventually find the finish line deeply unsatisfying.

  • This is such an important message for me as I embark once again on the path of weight loss and wellness. Thank you, Monique.

  • Monique, I loved today’s podcast because we are getting ready for a new year; a time when we tend to set goals for the coming year. It seems the joy is in the journey instead of actually reaching the goal. As I listened to you speak what you said reminded me of the “as soon as happiness.” Is there some truth in this? The mindset being, As soon as I reach my goal I will be happy.
