I recognize now that the fear I’m experiencing in try to repair my adult son’s bad moods, is the fear that he will seriously hurt himself. So, my issue is knowing that I can witness his bad mood as a support to him. Continuing, meanwhile, to search for proper supports to guide him in his life, like therapist/psychiatrist/healthy eating/meditation/etc
Allowing others to just be has given my entire life a beautiful freedom.
I appreciate this perspective— because I often think I have to fix the bad mood for someone. Interesting thought to just be a witness.
