How long should you really meditate for each day? In this episode, I dive into one of the most common questions I receive about meditation. I’ll share why the quality of your meditation matters more than the duration and how even a focused 10-minute session can be more powerful than 40 minutes of daydreaming. Discover how to truly be present in your practice, gradually building your ability to return to the moment. Let’s explore how to make every minute of meditation count, regardless of how long you sit.

I have been doing the 10 minute mind for several years and I am so glad to learn ways to help me be do it even better!
The quality of the meditation is more important than how long we meditate. Very good to know.
I love your explanation. It’s not time, but quality. So true for so many things.
Thank you. This is really helpful – as with most things in life it’s about the quality, not the quantity!
The old quality over quantity!
Exactly 💕
I was wondering about time and this was very helpful. Thank you.
I enjoyed your explanation about coming back to the present and also the 10 minutes is enough. I am mostly much more aware of intruding thoughts now. Today I never reacted to a sharp comment so the peace is beginning!
This was very valuable to me. I have trouble many days in staying present, but I at least have progressed to where I can adeptly recognize the gaps between my mind wandering. I’m hopeful that I can get to the place where my mind is quiet for longer moments.
This answered so many questions about the nature of my meditation practice: thank you! I have been doing transcendental meditation and zen meditation for years and I wish I had heard this a long time ago!
it is good to hear that it is a certain amount of coming back to the present rather than the amount of time practicing
