Mindful Moments Weekly
Happy Mindful Friday!
I'm thrilled to share another dose of insights, wisdom, and reflection with you.
2 Insights From Me
"Embracing imperfection in life can be liberating. Striving for progress, not perfection, in your mental health journey can lead to more genuine happiness and self-acceptance."
“Remember, self-care isn't selfish. Prioritizing your mental health is crucial for not only your well-being but also for being your best self for those around you."
2 Quotes From Others
Psychologist Carl Rogers on understanding oneself:"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."
Author Brené Brown on vulnerability:"Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness."
1 Question For You
Reflect for a moment. What's one small thing you can do today that brings you peace or joy? Is it a walk, a few minutes of meditation, or calling a loved one?
Remember, your happiness journey is uniquely yours. Take this week one step at a time, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need support.
I'd Love to Hear from You! Share your thoughts in the comments below!
I have finally found an excerise routine I enjoy and that I have been consistent with for over 3 weeks daily. I realized yesterday that I was actually looking forward to it. For me, it was Barre Eclipse (barre/pilates/yoga) in my own home. I have an accountability buddy, which for me is key. And while I cannot do all the things, I can already tell I am getting stronger and more flexible. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Now, to get more meditation added in. Today, I am starting with 10 minutes prior to working out. Thanks for your constant encouragement, Monique. Even if we all don’t reply or comment all the time, we hear you and see you.
