The Thrill of Anticipation

Do you want to know a quick and easy way to reduce your stress and anxiety and feel happier? Here it is! One of my favourite lifelong strategies. 

  • Years ago I had a friend who was trying to eat healthy but loved a certain drink she could get at Starbucks which she use to buy daily. In the end she and her family made a pact that on the first Sunday of each month they would meet at Starbucks and she could have her calorie fulled drink while catching up with the family. Even today, years later, I marvel at how she took this sinful calorie laden drink and turned it into a much antisipated family outing.
