Dear Michael

Many years ago, I wrote a song called Dear Michael. It was about a man I have been supporting for over 20 years.

  • Oh Monique, this made my heart weep. And break for the people I’ve kept in my own inner ‘death row’. I’m opening jail cells right now and discover I’m letting myself free alone with them. Weeping tears of relief and joy.

  • Monique, your message today was thought provoking. Where do we draw the line on who deserves to be loved and who doesn’t? I don’t think we get to exclude anyone from our love. Love is the paramount reason we are here. 💕
