  • I just listened to the trauma podcast, I liked all the information. However, I do have a concern, you said that antidepressants don’t work. Is this in reference to working on childhood abuse only? I ask because many people take antidepressants for many reasons, hearing this statement someone may stop taking their meds.

    • Yes in the podcast I was clear that people shouldn’t stop their medications. And for trauma the research that Bessel Van Der Kolk has done is show that antidepressants do not work for early chidlhood trauma. 💕

  • Your talk is very helpful and interesting Monique. Thank you. I have been attending a clinical psychologist for learning self hypnosis which works for life. It is used for trauma, and any other type of problem. Especially for children in war torn countries. I am wondering if you have heard of this.
