Beautiful explanation of compassion!
This podcast really speaks to me. Thank you, Monique, for your daily words of wisdom. Although I am not a Catholic nor am I religious, I really love something Pope Francis said: That we are accustomed to a culture of indifference (to suffering), and that we must strive and ask for the grace to create a culture of encounter. I work to remember this every single day.
Compassion. Today’s focus is so important not only to give to others others but to gift to ourselves. Monique, thank you for this wonderful reminder. 💕
